Affirm Press is a Melbourne-based publishing company committed to publishing books across the spectrum and taking particular pleasure in publishing books that ‘influence by delight’. The company started with Slow Guides to Melbourne and Sydney. The series was extended to Britain and Ireland in 2010 with Slow London and Slow Dublin, co-published with Hardie Grant.
The Slow Guides are for anybody who wants to slow down and live it up. They celebrate all that's local, natural, traditional, sensory and most of all gratifying about living in each of these corners of the world.
