Regardless of the shipping method used, a signature is required on delivery. Anyone at the delivery location can sign for the parcel. If no signature can be obtained, a ‘sorry we missed you’ notification card will be left and your parcel will be available for collection at the nearest post office. You may nominate a residential, business or PO box address for delivery (PO box delivery in Australia only). If nominating a business address please ensure you include the business or company name in the address field. Kindred Gifts reserves the right to charge a re-delivery fee if parcels are returned to Kindred Gifts due to insufficient or incorrect delivery (address) details.

Authority to leave without a signature

If your parcel is being delivered to a home address you can authorise for it to be left without a signature.

Please request this service in the comments box during the checkout process and be sure to provide clear instructions on where you would like the parcel left. Kindred Gifts and its freight handling agents will not be held liable for lost or stolen goods.

Orders need to be received before 11am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) Monday to Friday to be dispatched on the same day.

Orders received after 1pm or on weekends or public holidays will be shipped on the next business day. If we experience any delays in processing your order we will contact you within one business day by email or phone.

Expedited Shipping

Orders need to be received before 1pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) Monday to Friday to be dispatched on the same day.

Order status

Track your order online:

You will receive an email with your unique consignment number informing you that your order has been dispatched allowing you to track the delivery status of your parcel.

  • If you chose to use our standard shipping service visit the Australia Post eParcel website and enter your unique consignment number into the area provided.
  • If you chose our expedited shipping method, visit the Australian Air Express website and enter your unique consignment number into the area provided.

International deliveries are not subject to Australian Goods & Services Tax of 10%. If shipping outside Australia, your item will be 10% less than the price that is indicated on the product page or the amount displayed when 'adding to cart'.The discounted total will be automatically calculated during checkout, but only once you have entered an international delivery address.


Delivery times

International orders are shipped by Australia Post Registered Air Mail which includes basic tracking of your order. A signature is required on delivery. Delivery times vary from country to country, in most cases it will take between 6-10 working days for your item to arrive.

During peak holiday periods please allow additional time for your goods to arrive as delays within the global postage network can be expected.

Import duty and customs

Most countries charge import duty tax for goods purchases over a certain dollar amount from overseas.The amount to be paid often depends on the value of the goods and the customs laws of your country.

Kindred Gifts is not held liable for any customs restrictions or fees applicable to orders shipped to destinations outside Australia.

Under Australian export laws, Kindred Gifts is obliged to declare the total value of the goods in Australian dollars (AUD) on the customs declaration. It is an offense to incorrectly state the true value of a parcel.

If you are a registered customer you can view the progress of a recently placed order and view all historical orders by signing in to your Kinship account on this website.

Track your international order online:

Once your order has been dispatched you can track the delivery status of your parcel. Visit the Australia Post website and enter your unique consignment number into the area provided. Don't forget, a signature will be required on delivery.

Refund Policy

The team here at Kindred Gifts appreciate that things don't always go according to plan when purchasing a gift as a treat for yourself or for that special someone. We want you to be happy and feel good about shopping with us. With that in mind, we offer a refund policy to achieve that goal.

If, after receiving a gift from Kindred Gifts, you or the recipient of your gift doesn't like what has been purchased, then what's the point of keeping it? You have 30 days from when it was purchased to determine if you would like to keep, exchange or refund the original purchase. (Sorry, at this stage only the gift purchaser can complete the return request).

It should also be noted that anything you wish to return for an exchange or refund should be sent back to us in the condition it arrived to you.  

Please note: Sorry, but we do not offer refunds on Sale items (unless the item is faulty). We also do not offer exchanges or refunds on Experience vouchers, although dates may be available to change subject to availability with the provider of the experience purchased.

Nobody likes a broken present

If you open your gift to find that it has arrived broken or faulty then please accept our apologies. We hold our own stock and don't drop ship in order to retain quality control, and we check that everything is in good order before it leaves our warehouse. We package all orders with the intention of them arriving safely and in good order whilst also keeping the health of the planet in mind, however we realise that occasionally items may be faulty or break in transit. If you open your gift to find it faulty or broken then please email us at returns@kindredgifts.com to arrange for a replacement or refund.
