At Kindred Gifts, the inspirational words of Winston Churchill aren’t just a mantra but a way of life, and our team are driven every day to help all customers achieve their best life possible – whether that’s through our customers giving a gift that makes both themselves and the recipient feel great, or simply by becoming a part of the Kindred ‘family’.
We are proud of the shopping experience and community we are creating at Kindred Gifts. To us, a beautiful object is always more special when it has an exceptional story behind it – and such is the case with the range of ‘feel good’ gifts on offer at Kindred. We are proud to bring you the inspirational stories behind each of our brands and believe it is important to offer you information about the products you purchase and the people who make them. Would you rather have a bracelet that has been mass produced in a factory or one that was lovingly handmade by a full time designer, or crocheted by an HIV-positive woman in Rwanda whose work helps both her and her family to survive?

As a result, we continuously search the world for the best, unique and most innovative experiences and products that think outside the (gift) box. We specialise in distinctive gifts that you’d never find at shopping centres or chain stores, and stock a full spectrum of items for every room of the house and every type of occasion or recipient. We offer a carefully edited collection of gifts because we want you to be able to spend your time doing the fun, enjoyable things in life. We spend the time to search the world for gifts that you can feel great about buying. We do the hard work so you don’t have to!
We research every single one of our products, and will only ever include items in our range if we are 100% satisfied with them. All of our products are selected for their design, quality, innovative approach and ethical credentials, and many are exclusive to Kindred Gifts. The gifts are created by inspiring artisans and organisations that, through their work, bring something special to the world. Many of these artists put their passion into making each unique piece by hand, with much love, time and commitment. Many follow Fair Trade principles, and ensure that fair prices are paid and working conditions are safe, while also contributing to the impoverished communities in the area where the products are made. Our suppliers are animal friendly and employ eco friendly practices in their businesses, through using vintage, recycled, biodegradable or organic resources and packaging. Many of the organisations donate time or a percentage of their proceeds to charity, meaning that for a lot of the products in our range, the gifts are truly ones that give back. Add to that the percentage of sales revenue donated by Kindred Gifts to charity each year through our ‘Kindness Matters’ program, and you really have something to smile about!
Even though you can access us online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the team at Kindred Gifts are real people with real values and ideas. At the moment we are a small company with a BIG passion, but we intend to grow and evolve and bring our vision of a happy, healthy planet ever closer. We take the lead in this by following eco friendly practices where possible. We recycle, minimize paper usage, use biodegradable bubble wrap and courier bags, and only use gift boxes made from recycled cardboard. We also offset our website and email carbon emissions with 100% Registered Carbon Offsets.
We’re passionate (and yes, slightly obsessive) about what we do, and aim to constantly surprise and delight you – we don’t believe satisfaction is enough.
