The Handpresso Domepod works with ground coffee — you can choose your favorite roast or blend of coffee to brew. Simply fill the seven-gram basket with your ground coffee and tamp. As an expert or an espresso lover, what do you prefer? Arabica or Robusta coffee? Or would you rather have organic or fair trade coffee? The new Handpresso Wild Domepod suits all tastes! You can become the master of ceremonies and choose the origin, the coffee grind, and the roasting you want for your favourite coffee blend. All you need is super hot water to brew the perfect drink! The patented high-pressure extraction system uses hand-held pumping to prime the device, ensuring the correct 16 bar pressure needed to produce the perfect cup of espresso. Although cleanup is still a breeze, there are a few rules you'll want to follow to keep your Handpresso DomePod in top shape. Do not use alcohol or detergents to clean the machine, and descaling is unnecessary. Just like the Handpresso Wild, the Handpresso DomePod is not microwave safe. For best results, use a fine professionally ground coffee.

WHY WE LOVE IT:

We see the Handpresso Wild as a fantastic example of how simplification leads to environmentally friendly products. The Handpresso Wild uses 10 times less raw material than a traditional 16 bar espresso maker, 50% of the material is recyclable aluminum and thanks to its small size, the CO2 impact from shipping is very low. Moreover, most espresso makers are constantly powered on in order to quickly heat up the water, whereas the Handpresso machines do not have any stand-by power consumption.

Also, most espresso machines are difficult to maintain, take up precious space on the table top and are can also get very expensive. With the Handpresso on the other hand, it requires no maintenance and, being compact and well-made, you can easily store it away in a drawer, in a bag or kept with the kitchenware.
