Same Sky bracelets are crocheted by women artisans in Kigali, Rwanda. SAME SKY’s initial project employs HIV+ women in Rwanda who survived the 1994 Genocide. Instead of a hand-out, Same Sky offer a hand-up and a chance to rebuild their lives. Same Sky bracelets are handmade by these extraordinary women and very talented artisans.
With the purchase of a bracelet you become a part of the powerful circle empowering and connecting women everywhere...under the same sky.
Yellow Submarine features bold blue, bright yellow and green textiles and is adorned with hand-blown glass beads. Approximately 89cm (35") long, wrapping approximately 4-6 times around wrists, it can also be worn as a necklace and hair accessory. The closure is made of two hand blown glass beads and a loop hole.
Please note that the wrap bracelets are made of rwandan textiles that are hand dyed and will fade over time if they are repeatedly washed.
