Same Sky bracelets are crocheted by women artisans in Kigali, Rwanda. SAME SKY’s initial project employs HIV+ women in Rwanda who survived the 1994 Genocide. Instead of a hand-out, Same Sky offer a hand-up and a chance to rebuild their lives. Same Sky bracelets are handmade by these extraordinary women and very talented artisans.
With the purchase of a bracelet you become a part of the powerful circle empowering and connecting women everywhere...under the same sky.
Purple Rain features vibrant purple, pink, black and white rwandan textile, adorned with hand-blown glass beads in various subtle colours. The bracelet is approximately 38cm (15") long, wrapping approximately 2-3 times around wrists. The closure is made of two hand blown glass beads and a loop hole.
Please note that the wrap bracelets are made of Rwandan textiles that are hand dyed and will fade over time if they are repeatedly washed.
