Same Sky bracelets are crocheted by women artisans in Kigali, Rwanda. SAME SKY’s initial project employs HIV+ women in Rwanda who survived the 1994 Genocide. Instead of a hand-out, Same Sky offer a hand-up and a chance to rebuild their lives. Same Sky bracelets are handmade by these extraordinary women and very talented artisans.
With the purchase of a bracelet you become a part of the powerful circle empowering and connecting women everywhere...under the same sky.
Purple Rain features a vibrant fuschia, navy, lime and white rwandan textile. These bracelets are adorned with hand-blown glass beads in various subtle colors. The length of the bracelet is 96.5cm (38") long which wraps approximately 4-5 times around wrists. The closure is made of two additional hand-blown glass beads and a securely braided loop hole.
Please note that the wrap bracelets are made of Rwandan textiles that are hand dyed and will fade over time if they are repeatedly washed.
