In addition to their comfortable fit, ScooterBees shoes are designed to be lots of fun to wear. With story telling qualities, they have educational illustrations that stimulate young minds. Each pair of ScooterBees is designed to tell a story by turning the 'pages' of the shoes (each shoe has two different illustrations to choose from, so there are multiple combinations), keeping kids entertained all day long. The upper on each ScooterBees shoe is made from a soft, breathable, 100% vegetable and fruit tanned leather which has zero harmful chemicals. Only the best leathers are chosen and then dyed 100% from vegetables and fruits grown right at the tannery, so you can appreciate the varied character of each colour that reflects the crop of the season. ScooterBees shoes are hand-made straight from the shoe last by shoe artisans in Peru, and are lined with recycled fleece fibres to keep little feet warm. The midsole on each pair of shoes is made from recycled cartons, while the natural rubber and recycled rubber outsole is PVC free and phthalate free. To top this off, the little soles are made to be durable with anti-slipping natural rubber, allowing young feet to explore a bit of their outdoors.
Good for kids and extremely eco-friendly, these soft-soled shoes are PVC-free, latex-free, and most importantly, free from chloride, dioxins and phthalates. Each pair is also packaged in a handy reusable jute bag, which is perfect to use later for lunches and snacks!
